Johannesburg — South African retailer Pick n Pay (PIKJ.J) said on Thursday it had withdrawn a previously announced restructuring consultation process after reaching an agreement with its labour union.

The retailer also forecast a 25% to 35% narrowing in its headline loss per share for the first half of the financial year.

The withdrawal follows an agreement with the union, resolving the immediate restructuring consultation process. The company did not provide further details of the agreement in the brief announcement.
