Nairobi — The Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) is targeting stronger partnerships with tourism-sector stakeholders as it seeks to unlock greater potential in domestic tourism across Kenya.
The initiative is aimed at bringing together industry players and other stakeholders to encourage more Kenyans to explore destinations within the country, supporting tourism businesses and strengthening the sector’s contribution to the wider economy.
KTB’s focus on domestic tourism comes as Kenya continues to develop its tourism industry beyond international visitor markets, with local travellers representing an important source of demand for hotels, attractions, transport operators and other tourism-related businesses.
