Nairobi — Kenya Power and Lighting Company PLC reported a pre-tax profit of KSh36.01 billion for the financial year ended June 30, 2026, according to a company announcement released on Friday.

The result highlights the performance of Kenya’s electricity distribution utility during the 2025/26 financial year, with the company continuing to play a central role in the country’s power distribution network.
